Idaho Trust Bank hires David C. Cooper as Chief of Trust & Investment Administration

David C. Cooper, JD, CFP, CTFA, has been named Chief of Trust & Investment Administration for Idaho Trust Bank and will lead the bank's team of Trust Officers and Trust Administrators. David and his team are responsible for providing trust and estate solutions to clients and administering investment management and fiduciary accounts.

David comes to Idaho Trust Bank with over 20 years of experience in wealth management and trust administration. A graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law, he served as a past President and Bar Commissioner for the Idaho State Bar and currently serves as the Tax, Probate, and Trust Section Chairperson. In 2022, Cooper was named a Fiduciary Counsel Fellow for The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), which is a national organization of lawyers and law professors whose peer-elected fellows represent the best and brightest in the trust and estate practice.

Mr. Cooper and his wife, Suzette, have lived in Boise for over 20 years. Their daughter is currently a junior in high school. He has volunteered as a basketball coach for the YMCA and enjoys running and hiking in the Boise foothills.

Idaho Trust Bank was founded in 1994 by brothers Daniel and Thomas Prohaska. The bank has branches in Coeur d'Alene and Boise and is one of only ten banks based in Idaho and the only bank headquartered in Boise.
