BOISE, Idaho – Thomas Prohaska, chairman and chief executive officer of Idaho Trust Bank, today announced that he has appointed two new teammates to Idaho’s leading community and wealth management bank – Whitley Hawk as Human Resources Officer and Emily Turner as Marketing Officer.

Hawk joined Idaho Trust Bank in February after working in both the military and private sector. During her 12 years in the U.S. Army Hawk served as a Human Resource Sergeant with the U.S Army Active/Reserves. She later worked in human resources at The Car Park and at Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services.

Hawk has an educational background and experience in human resources, diversity, equity and inclusion training, finance and business management. She spends her free time advocating for belonging and inclusion for marginalized Idahoans in all spaces as part of the nonprofit she co-founded, Inclusive Idaho.

Turner was appointed marketing officer in May and is responsible for the coordination of all marketing, social media and networking activities for Idaho Trust Bank. She also serves as the primary contact for public relations, media contacts, advertising, and certain business development activities.

Turner comes to Idaho Trust after two years in marketing at Idaho-based SaaS company Truckstop.com. Prior she spent two years at Idaho Central Credit Union in indirect lending and later as a marketing specialist. Turner is a high honors graduate of Idaho State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and Spanish, and a minor in marketing.
