Jack and Sue Simpson & the Opportunity Foundation

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

Idaho Trust clients Jack and Sue Simpson were recently highlighted in the Costco Connection magazine for their Opportunity Foundation, which they started in 2006. The foundation supports a K-5 school in India with a staff of 25, feeds and educates 300 children and provides medical services to 5,000 slum residents. They also recently started a new “safe center” in northeastern Thailand that will offer a home, education, healthcare and counseling for 400 abused girls, victims of child slavery.
These projects are funded with 30% of the profits from their Coeur d’Alene Idaho 3D architectural design and drafting software company, Chief Architect. Idaho Trust would like to recognize and thank Jack and Sue for all they are doing to provide care, support and love for so many people who otherwise would go unnoticed.

Idaho Trust Helps Create a Beautiful Moment

Friday, July 13th, 2007

On his way into our office, an Idaho Trust client was walking by a jewelry store and on a whim decided to go in and check it out. While he was there he felt inspired to buy a special gift for his wife as a token of appreciation for all that she has done for him throughout the years. Since spontaneous gift-giving isn’t his usual style, he was a little unsure of what to purchase. He approached my desk and asked if I would offer my opinion. He was so genuine in his desire to pick just the right thing that I was excited to help. We took the short walk to the jewelry store where he showed me a pair of ruby triangle earrings. They were gorgeous, but not quite his wife’s style. After looking for a few minutes we found a pair of round ruby earrings that were beautifully set in gold – perfect for his wife. The next day his wife came in and was so proud to show me the earrings she was wearing. She said that when he gave them to her she was so surprised that she immediately cried tears of joy. He had never given her a gift “just because.? It was so rewarding to be part of such a special moment. These are the types of things I love about my job at Idaho Trust – being able to help people create unforgettable moments.

Helly Hansen Moves Over

Tuesday, April 24th, 2007

Idaho Trust client Helly Hansen (in BoDo) has been so successful that it needed more room to operate. It just so happened that a much larger space two doors down became available and the store’s owner, Rachel Link, jumped at the chance to expand her business. Says Rachel, “I just think that the extra space will create a much better experience for our customers and provide us with the room we need to better represent our clothing.?  Helly Hansen sells a wide variety of outdoor wear/everyday wear that supports the active lifestyle. No matter what your outdoor passion may be, you will be sure to find something that suits you perfectly. The Helly Hansen line is durable and comfortable and even better, fairly priced. Idaho Trust would like to congratulate Rachel and her staff on their expansion and we wish them continued success.

Ella’s Room

Friday, February 16th, 2007

If you’ve been to the 8th Street Marketplace recently you’ve probably noticed that there’s a lot going on. New shops seem to be opening everywhere you look and the afternoon bustle is growing with every week. One new face downtown is Idaho Trust client Ella’s Room, an intimate apparel boutique located right on 8th Street. With the success of her first store in Jackson Hole, Wyoming Denise Joy, owner of Ella’s Room decided to open her second store right here in Boise because she saw the tremendous potential and loves the feel of our community. When you first walk into Ella’s Room you will notice the classy feel and the rich, warm colors that surround you. It is unlike the franchise and chain stores because they specialize in hard to fit sizes and offer private fitting consultations. And because they carry the designer brands you would expect to see on Rodeo Drive you’ll be sure to find something special and unique. Plus, if you mention this blog article you’ll save 10% off of one item. Idaho Trust welcomes Ella’s Room as a client and we congratulate Denise on the opening of her new store.

Ella’s Room is located at 413 S. 8th Street in Boise and is right across the street from Idaho Candy. You can visit their website at www.ellasroom.com or call them at (208) 331-3552.
